What is Web 2.0?
The buzz theme of the Internet at the moment is Web 2.0, defining it is virtually impossible however the way we read it is the personalising of the Internet. Sometime ago John Wooding wrote an interesting piece about it on the JWGecko blog and there are other references to it too there too. Most importantly Web 2.0 is also about social networking. This new term is the new version of the 1997 phrase "Communities of Common Interest" coined by John Hagel and Arthur Armstrong in their book called Net Gain.
