Tomorrow we will release the balance of the work we did last month and there are a few surprises! Clients with their own servers will have options to update over the balance of this week or next.
This release has been delayed by us having to deal with client issues relating the NetRegistry’s DNS problems. Our apologies for a second release – we hope you think it is worth it. We try and keep to a maintenance release once a month and then a functionality release two weeks later including any urgent maintenance.
Upgraded Support Area
- Create a Support Request – Streamlined process for adding tasks to the support queue and for requesting support.
- Bug Report – New Bug Report form gives us the details we need to help us fix issues faster. We automatically check your browser, OS and other settings in the back ground.
- Bug Reporting Guidelines – A ‘how to’ guide on getting bugs fixed quickly through better reporting.
- Feedback and Wish List forms – Now we have a way of capturing your feedback and good ideas for the future; we do listen J.
- View report requests – You now have access to the data we use to manage your tasks and it is updated in real time.
- Email Updates – Probably the most important addition to the feature set. You will now know immediately when Customer Service updates your issues in the support portal automatically via email.
VETtrak Online – Enrolment & VET Campus: 3.8.1
- Student Awards: We have added ‘Student Awards’ to the admin of the VO module. It is not easy to find student’s whose credentials are about to expire. The form of the report is also a part of the new report presentation we will be rolling out to all out report pages over the next six months. Currently there is a download in xls or display. You cannot reorder the page by the column you are interested in. We will be adding a date filter and other filters in the coming weeks.
- Print Calendar: You will notice a new Print Calendar feature on the Calendar and Diary.
- Android & iOS Apps now available for Enrolment and VET Campus – Your Icons, Your Brand on your clients home screens – this is an add-on product.
- Set Payment type on Programme – there is now an option to set the payment type on a program by programme basis – this is an add-on product.
- Even more pedantic about compliance:
- Enrol or apply – there is an ongoing discussion about at what point a student is applying and enroling. We have added a feature to set the URL for the enrolment form to whatever you think is more complaint. Enrol, Apply, Pre-Enrolment or ….. Requires configuration.
- RTO Emails now make a lot more sense – previously the audit emails sent to RTOs contain the very basic information from the enrolment form; now they are in plain English.
- Completed Enrolment form [VTG Only] – The RTO email can now include a completed enrolment form ready for the student to sign. Including an ‘Office Use’ section and dynamic document check list!
LMS – Ezy & VET: 2.4.2
- Extending SCORM Support – The LMS is now able to support different start page files than was previously the case. This is a part of a project to avail the LMS of the may free resources available from the Flexible Learning Framework library.
- New Commencement Pod – View a list of all courses commenced today o dashboard or select from date range on a new report.
- Reports for all Dashboard Counts – Where before there was a number in italics now there is a click through to reports; Log-ins, Study Time, Completed Failed and more.
- Assessment – Default scoring for assessment uses highest score, rather than average of attempts.
- Qualifications – Can now associate qualifications to programmes.
- Learning Home page – Revised student learning homepage to show all online learning.
- Filtering on audit log report – You can click on the event name and the log only shows for that event. Click on a user name and it filters out to that and the event name. Clear the event name, and the filtering is only for the user and so on.
- Quiz – Adding a quiz now takes you to the questions for the quiz automatically.
Cherry Framework: 13.6.2
- File Uploader – There have been issues with the LMS and EcoArc resulting from an upgrade of Java.
