Restrictions
There were 15 restrictions added last month and 6 removed (some have been resolved since the end of the month). A significant number of the restrictions were not complete suspensions, indicating again that ASQA are being more nuanced and targeted in their enforcement actions.
They included:
- 9 actions to relating to general suspensions (some since restored);

- 3 requirements to retain detailed records; and
- 2 non-sanction notification of commencement requirement.
RTOs who have changed their scope
There were 500 training components added to scope in September by a total of 288 providers. The vast majority (85%) related to an update of low voltage electrical safety/rescue units.
You can drill down to the details with VET BI, or set your watch list to notify you when a competitor in your regions of interest adds an item to scope in a category you are interested in.
