New RTOs
Only 4 new RTOs emerged last month, including none in NSW!

Change to RTO Type
There were no RTO type changes last month.

Restrictions
There were 22 restrictions added last month on 18 RTOs, with 1 ended. No restrictions were complete suspensions, indicating again that ASQA are being more nuanced and targeted in their enforcement actions. The formal requirement to notify ASQA when commencing delivery or national courses appears to now be a regular part of the process.
They included:
- No actions to relating to general suspensions;
- 5 scope or delivery limitations;
- 2 restriction on RPL delivery;
- 3 requirements to retain detailed records; and
- 8 non-sanction notification of commencement requirement.
Training Component Changes
There were 2891 changes to training components October, including a complete update of the Agriculture (AHC) package and a modest number changes across more than 30 other subject areas.
A lot of changes can happen in a month, with many RTOs automatically adding new equivalent components to their scope. Changes in RTO Funding Contracts
The only is significant activity in October was one RTO withdrawing from funding in Qld.
