New RTOs
Perhaps ASQA have been too busy leading up to the Total VET Activity deadline on 28 Feb to register new RTOs. There were no new RTOs registered this month!
Restrictions
There were only 4 restrictions added in February.
Mandatory record keeping and review
21994 TIV / Spice Telecom Australia (Melbourne CBD and Inner Suburbs, Agriculture and Community Services) – assessment records.
45432 Richmond School of Business Pty Ltd (Sydney Western Suburbs, Business) – trainer qualifications.
Requirement to notify on commencement (non-sanction)
45281 Spencer Technical College (Brisbane CBD and Inner Suburbs, Business).
4988 Castle Personnel Services Ltd (NSW Hunter and Lake Macquarie, Cleaning).
Training component changes
February was also a very quiet month for training component updates, with a handful of Business qualifications and units being updated or replaced, and associated automatic RTO scope changes.
A lot of changes can happen in a normal month, with many RTOs automatically adding new equivalent components to their scope. With VET BI, you set your watch list to notify you when a competitor in your regions of interest adds an item to scope in an category you are interested in. This gives you a more tightly focused view of your competitors changes to scope.
Funding changes
There were no recorded changes to funding in February.
VET BI can provide you with email alerts about who’s getting funding (and who’s not) that is targeted to your subjects and regions of interest.
