Welcome to the August 2020 issue of the VET BI report.
Activity starts to return for the start of spring. There were further broad training product updates to respond and adapt to the COVID-19 environment and to support employment recovery, as well as an overhaul of the agriculture package.
7 new RTO registrations this month – back to a more “normal” number after July had the lowest for many months. Here are the new entrants in August:

Training component changes
Training product updates were busy again, with Agriculture getting an overhaul, and a range of employment-focused content begin updated (Business, Welfare, Safety, Technology) – presumably related to working in the current environment with extra health measures and working remotely.
It was another quiet month for funding changes, with one RTO in NSW and one in SA now receiving funding.
